Working with documents

Kronodoc documents can represent one or more files or web pages. Each document includes a set of properties that contain information that describes and classifies the document and is used to search for documents. Files and web page links are attached to documents so that they are controlled by the locking and version control of Kronodoc. Files can be of any type and virtually any size. A web page link is a URL address that starts with http:// or https://. Documents can also include subdocuments. As documents are revised using life cycles, prior versions and historical information are retained for reference. With Kronodoc commands, you can create, view, edit, and manipulate documents and their attachments depending on your access rights.
